Holistic Massage

Holistic Massage provides you with a great opportunity to pay attention to yourself. As part of your first visit, I take a confidential consultation which allows me to build up a picture of you and your needs so that I can create the best possible session.

It is important to tell me about any constant or recurring conditions, injuries or serious ailments that you may have or any medications you are taking.

It may also help to think about what you want to gain from your session, this can be things such as reducing muscle tension, slowing a busy mind, feeling cared for or stimulating your energy. These are only a few examples of what massage therapy can help you achieve – don’t be afraid of expressing what you want and need. However, you may not know what you need and we can work this out together.

Cancellations

Whilst I understand that sometimes things happen that mean you are unable to attend your appointment, please understand that I am self-employed and need to be able to have enough time to offer any cancelled slots in my timetable to other clients so I would appreciate as much notice as possible if you can’t attend.

This also makes it easier for you to rebook in the future as everyone feels less awkward.

Thanks, Jane.

“My monthly visits to Jane for massage vary greatly from session to session. One visit can be a deep tissue massage to target particular body parts, such as tension in my shoulders, back and arms from the constant pull from lead walking dogs or for aching hips, legs and feet depending on how many hours spent dog walking in a month. If I’ve had a particularly stressful month, I may opt for a relaxing head massage and facial, simply as a relaxation aid. I am also a great advocate in having regular massage, simply as a relaxation aid, and preventative tool keep my body as free from injury as possible.”
