I have enjoyed Jane’s wonderful massages for a couple of years and can thoroughly recommend her. She spends time getting to know what you are looking for from your massage and always manages to come up with just what you need, whether it is deep-tissue work on a particular part of the body or a soothing, relaxing massage. I first started using Jane’s services in 2010 whilst training for The Great North Run and had no hesitation in using her services again when my career took a major change of direction in early 2015.  I’ve gone from spending the last 27 years in an office sitting behind a desk to walking dogs 7 days a week which is having a massive impact on the muscles and joints rarely used in my body.  My monthly visits to Jane for massage vary greatly from session to session. One visit can be a deep tissue massage to target particular body parts, such as tension in my shoulders, back and arms from the constant pull from lead walking dogs or for aching hips, legs and feet depending on how many hours spent dog walking in a month.  If I’ve had a particularly stressful month, I may opt for a relaxing head massage and facial, simply as a relaxation aid.  I am also a great advocate in having regular massage, simply as a relaxation aid, and preventative tool keep my body as free from injury as possible.

Jane has made a significant difference to myself changing and recognising personal skills which have helped me to alter the way I cope with severe neurological pain.  Being able to use Mindfulness and breathing techniques have enabled me to alter the way I try to cope with constant debilitating pain.  Jane has helped me to see that I do have the ability to change the way I deal with pain which has empowered me and made me more confident and aware of how I react to constant pain, particularly during and after major surgery last year and significantly improving my mindset towards permanent pain.
